On the evening of May 28th, TKLA Grill & Cantina officially opened its doors to the world — and the world showed up in style. More than 200 guests filled our space for a private grand opening that set the tone for everything this restaurant aspires to be: warm, electric, and completely unforgettable. The evening unfolded as a multi-course tasting experience, with each course paired to a signature cocktail developed specifically for the occasion.
A live quartet performed original arrangements of Latin jazz and classic boleros throughout the evening, setting an atmosphere that felt simultaneously timeless and modern. The response from guests was overwhelming — our social media mentions went off the charts before the first course had even cleared the tables. Local press, community leaders, and culinary influencers from across Southern California joined us for a night that we believe marked the beginning of something genuinely special in Ontario.
